The participation of the light novel Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu (Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World) in the MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2024 event brought with it a considerable amount of announcements about the long-awaited third season of the anime adaptation of the work, and for the good fortune of those who have been waiting for a long time for the release date to be announced, we have good news.
The third season of Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu will premiere on October 2.
According to information presented at the MF Bunko J Summer School Festival 2024 event, the third season of the TV anime Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu is scheduled to begin broadcasting on Japanese television on October 2 of this year. This announcement was accompanied with a new promotional video for the new installment of the series, which gives us a small 2-minute preview of what we will be able to enjoy in this season.
The new promotional video of the third season of the anime Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu revealed new details about its closing theme and it shows a preview of the song that is performed by MYTH & ROID and will be titled “NOX LUX”. Let’s remember that the opening theme of this installment will be performed by Konomi Suzuki and will be titled “Reweave”.
However, that’s not all, as it was also specified that the third season of the anime Re: Zero will be divided by 2 parts. The first part, “Shuugeki-hen” (Attack Arc), will premiere on October 2, while the second part, “Hangeki-hen” (Counterattack Arc) will premiere on February 5, 2025.
The production team of the anime Re: Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu is composed of the following people: Masahiro Shinohara will be the director, while the animation studio WHITE FOX will be in charge of production. The composition will be in charge of Masahiro Yokotani, and the character design will be the responsibility of Haruka Sagawa. Finally, Kenichiro Suehiro will be in charge of the soundtrack composition.
It is worth noting that this new installment of the anime Re: Zero will be broadcast legally and simultaneously in America through the Crunchyroll platform under the title Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World.

April 4, 2016 marked the premiere of the anime adaptation of Re: Zero, which consists of 2 seasons with a total of 50 episodes, including specials and 2 OVAs.
