If you watch a lot of anime you’re probably familiar with Japanese hot springs, and all the fun scenarios that can occur in them. Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is a manga written by Tadahiro Miura that takes place at the Yuragi Inn, whose hot springs are possessed by the ghost of the lovely Yuuna Yunohana. This is a romantic comedy and harem series filled with cute girls that has been growing in popularity, and even had its own anime adaptation. Now, developer Matrix Software and distributor FuRyu announced that the video game based on the story of Yuuna and her friends will be coming soon to the West.
Yuuna and her friends come to this curious Roguelike RPG
Titled Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami, this videogame is based on the popular comedy and harem series about girls in hot springs. Although it had already been released in Japan for PlayStation 4 and PC a few years ago, it has just been confirmed through its Steam page that it will be released in the rest of the world soon, although a specific release date was not yet confirmed. It will be available in English, Japanese, simple Chinese and traditional Chinese, so it seems that there will be no Spanish version for the moment.
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is a “Roguelike” style role-playing game, which means that you will have to explore different procedurally generated dungeons that will change their design every time you re-enter them. The official description says “Watch out for clothing damage!”, so it looks like it will have a mechanic that will have the girls gradually get undressed based on the damage caused by enemies. There will also be a mini-game in which you’ll accompany the protagonist as she bathes in the hot springs, so if you like your experiences a little racy, this game is ideal for you.
The cast of this RPG is the same as the original anime & manga: first there is Yuuna Yunohana, the adorable white-haired ghost. But you can also play alongside Sagiri Ameno, a beautiful violet-haired ninja, Yaya Fushiguro, a short-haired cat girl, Nonko Arahabaki, a furry oni who enjoys drinking alcohol, and Oboro Shintō, a short-haired girl with an eye patch. Each and every one of these cute girls has full voice acting, done by the same seiyuus who played them in the anime.
Another interesting element of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs is the possibility of changing the clothes, not only for the main character, but for all the characters. In the trailer we could see maid outfits, bunny outfits, a swimsuit and many more. So you will have a lot to choose from. If you are a fan of this charismatic anime & manga, or you simply like “Roguelikes” with cute girls in hot springs, then you can’t miss Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami, when it is released very soon.
