Yuki Suou stars second Blu-Ray/DVD of Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go

In the respective official media for the anime adaptation of Dereru Tonari no Alya-san’s (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian) romantic comedy light novel Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go, the official cover art for the second Blu-Ray/DVD volume of the series has been unveiled to the public. Unlike the first Blu-Ray/DVD, this volume will feature the charismatic Yuki Suou, the popular sister of protagonist Masachika Kuze, as the main protagonist.

However, that’s not all, as the official back cover of this volume was also presented, which will also feature Yuki Suou as the central protagonist. Something to note is that the illustrations of both covers were created by Yuuhei Murota, in charge of the character design of the anime, and also by Momoco, the illustrator of the original light novel.

The second Blu-Ray/DVD volume of the anime Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 25 this year and this package will include episodes 5 – 8, plus bonus content. In addition, it was specified that the Blu-Ray version will be available at a price of 14,300 yen, while the DVD version will be available at a price of 12,100 yen.

Another detail to highlight is that this volume will have a limited version, which will offer the buyer not only the benefits of the standard edition (special booklet, collection of promotional videos and commercials, among other things), but will also include an incredible 1/7 scale figure that will be inspired by the beautiful Yuki Suou. This edition will be available at a price of 36,300 yen.

The respective anime adaptation of Dereru Tonari no Alya-san’s light novel Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go made its television premiere in Japan on July 3 of this year and will consist of a total of 12 episodes. The series was legally simulcast in the territories of North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East and CIS through the Crunchyroll platform and will be dubbed into English.

At the end of the series’ broadcast, the production of a second season was announced. However, a possible premiere date was not specified.

The anime’s production team is as follows: Ryota Ito supervised the direction and composition of the series. Renowned animation studio Doga Kobo, known for its work on series such as Oshi no Ko and Plastic Memories, was in charge of the anime’s production. Yuhei Murota is the animation director and was also in charge of character design for the anime. Hiroaki Tsutsumi was in charge of composing the soundtrack for the anime.

Tokidoki Bosotto Roshia-Go De Dereru Tonari No Arya-San Anime Visual

Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go by Dereru Tonari no Alya-san, also known as Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian in the West, is a romantic comedy light novel written by Sunsunsun and illustrated by Momoco. Publication of the light novel began in Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint of Kadokawa Publishing House in February 2021 and to date, the series consists of 9 published volumes.

The work has a manga adaptation by Tenamachi Saho. The manga has been published in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket service since October 2022. Thanks to the good reception of the public, in March 2023, the production of an anime adaptation was announced.
