«Yosuga no Sora» es un anime muy popular dentro de la comunidad otaku debido a que ha causado múltiples controversias por la polémica que ha generado con el tema que aborda en su trama. Desde hace un tiempo, los fans de Yosuga no Sora podían disfrutar este anime a través del canal de YouTube de AnimeTimes; sin embargo, una triste noticia para los seguidores de esta serie acaba de ser compartida y es que se notificó que se daría de baja de esta plataforma, lo cual causó mucha conmoción entre los fans.
Yosuga no Sora will no longer be available for viewing on YouTube
AnimeTimes, an anime distribution channel, posted this announcement through its Twitter/X account about the event with message that we share below:
[Notice of distribution cancellation and apology].
“Yosuga no Sora”, which was distributed on Anime Times’ official YouTube channel, will be discontinued due to circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to everyone who was waiting for it.
Thank you for your understanding.
Upon reading this news, Yosuga no Sora fans immediately came out on social media with comments such as, “The mere fact that he was planning to stream it on YouTube is a steppe. As expected, that would be impossible hahaha.” “According to rumors, it’s not something that can be streamed nowadays why was it possible to do it on TV in the old days?” “You can tell by the title of the show.” “This is an anime that defies the limits of television broadcasting! I remember being excited when I was a high school student.”.
One person even shared a funny anecdote where he said he couldn’t watch it on YouTube because the last time he did it in front of his whole family, he got a huge surprise. As you can notice, something that caused impact and even amusement to fans is that it is being banned by the red platform, but has previously been broadcast on television despite the topics it touches on. Apparently, the restriction of things that can be seen is much greater on YouTube and that is why, due to the nature of the story it addresses is Yosuga no Sora had a hard time staying on this site.
Yosuga no Sora is a Japanese visual novel that was made and distributed by Sphere in 2008 in a PC version. It also has a manga adaptation made by Takashi Mikaze and published in Shonen Ace that has only 2 volumes and an anime by Estudio Feel. In October 2009, a sequel to the novel was published under the title “Haruka no Sora“, which has different scenarios for some of the characters of its predecessor.
The Yosuga no Sora anime has 12 episodes that aired from October 2010 to December 2010. As usual in most anime series, each episode has a duration of 22 minutes, plus an extra segment of 3 minutes and in the main plot we have a multi-arc with independent stories of several characters such as Kazuha, Akira, Nao, and Sora, although we also have episodes where their stories are shared.
The story tells us about the Kasugano twins, who become orphans due to a car accident, and after this sad event, they travel to their grandparents’ country residence to try to rebuild their lives. During the development of the plot, we see alternate futures in which one of the twins, Haruka had love affairs with several girls, which causes that with each relationship, his sister Sora shows her feelings towards him, since they are secretly in love.
And although Yosuga no Sora fans are dismayed with this news, since their favorite anime will not be able to be seen in this way, there are other ways to do it without problems, being the best and most recommended to do it from the recognized platform Anime Onegai, which has the anime in its entirety. In addition, as an added bonus, from here you can watch the chapters in their original language or also dubbed into English, since Anime Onegai has released the story in our language, with a great job by the actors and actresses.
