The original anime Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai from Doga Kobo studios, who were in charge of the adaptation of the popular Oshi no Ko, announced its arrival a little over a year ago and this season had its long awaited premiere. Undoubtedly, when it comes to an original anime, expectations are created by not knowing in depth what the story is about, but this has not been an impediment to catch the attention of the public and even more so when it comes to funny moments, as in one of its recent chapters where they recreate a viral dance of the popular South Korean artist PSY.

When it comes to an original story, it is sure that the expectations of fans are many, especially if it is a studio that has done a good job with other adaptations and apparently Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai by Doga Kobo has made a very good impression in the 6 chapters. And today it is already halfway through and with a good rhythm in the story it seems that it will have a good ending that will not disappoint.
During these episodes we have seen the endless emotions that each of the girls transmit us to achieve their dreams by supporting each other, but they have also had their funny moments. This was what recently happened, when the user @paukshop through his Twitter/X account shared a moment that he found curious and did not hesitate to make an edit when he saw one of the moments of chapter 5 of Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai. Being that he found it to be more than perfect for South Korean rapper PSY’s catchy song and Yoru Mitsuki would dance, she would look great dancing to his beat.
The cute Yoru is sitting at her desk and doing her homework when a notification interrupts her studies, upon seeing her message she gets excited and notices that it is the song “Daddy” which she doesn’t hesitate to play it and upon hearing it she starts dancing with the step that makes her popular, rhythmically waving both hands and feet, with a big smile. Apparently this edit of Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai is not the first one he has done, as he has others that have been liked by fans and this is a very funny one that soon has begun to go viral.
Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai is a story of four girls: “Mahiru Kouzuki” an illustrator who has stopped drawing, “Nonoka Tachibana” who used to be an idol and wants to challenge herself by singing, “Nox Ryūgasaki” who has self-proclaimed herself the strongest vTuber and “Kimura-chan” a composer who wants to support her favorite person, who will form a group called “JELEE“, with the purpose of fulfilling their artistic dreams by supporting each other. The whole story takes place in the popular Shibuya.
This original anime was produced by Doga Kobo on the occasion of its 50th anniversary, has been directed by Ryōhei Takeshita who invited to participate in this project to other members of the production, such as the screenwriter, Yūji Kaneko and the art director and editor, Kashiko Kimura. Finally, Masaru Yokoyama is in charge of the music. It began airing on April 7, as part of the spring 2024 season.
