A few days ago, the internet exploded with the release of a promotional video in which we can see Yor Forger from Spy x Family fighting against Chun-Li from the Street Fighter saga. This animation was created to celebrate the anticipated collaboration between the Spy x Family Code: WHITE movie and the Street Fighter 6 game. The video went extremely viral among fans of both waifus, resulting in countless memes and illustrations. This time, a talented artist decided to do something funny: What if Yor and Chun-Li swapped outfits? After all, these are 2 iconic characters wearing 2 iconic costumes. And the end result is more than satisfying.
Yor Forger vs. Chun-Li: Who looks better?
The image in question was posted on Twitter by @magion02, a digital illustrator, character designer and comic book artist from Borneo. In this one, we can see Yor Forger and Chun-Li facing off in an intimidating, but somewhat friendly manner, in reference to the aforementioned promotional animation. Both women look more than good and we can appreciate the artist’s skillful anatomy work, dynamism and positioning. Although obviously, there is a particular detail in this art: they are wearing each other’s characteristic attire.
Yor Forger is sporting Chun-Li’s classic Chinese qipao that the martial artist wears in Street Fighter 6, and it looks great on her. After all, this garment is made for elegant fighting, and Yor is an athletic character who knows how to fight well. But the biggest surprise in this image has to be Chun-Li, who we rarely see wearing dark dresses like this, much less high heels. However, the more seductive outfit Yor usually dons to assassinate people suits the martial artist perfectly. Images like this make us appreciate the fashion sense of both waifus and the talent of the artists who designed these classic characters.
