A Twitter/X user named @comfortsgwen shared a sensational image where we can see Gwenpool and X-23 from X-Men in a fanart that shows us a spider variant and one of our favorite mutants as partners in a different universe. This illustration has managed to excite fans who left many comments on the publication.
X-Men: Gwenpool AND X-23 make fans fall in love in fanart
The Deadpool franchise is one of the most beloved by the public, its different characters in its various universes have a number of fans who are quite loyal to them. And one of the characters is the beautiful Gwendolyn “Gwen” Poole, a very beloved character, especially for being a female counterpart of Deadpool himself, in this case with a very characteristic representation that made her very dear to the followers of this hero.
So seeing this character as Gwenpool in this wonderful fanart was like a breath of fresh air. In this illustration we can see Gwenpool together with X-23, a character that is associated with the X-Men and that you probably remember for her appearance in the last movie in the Wolverine trilogy “Logan”, where we could see her and know a little more of her origin.
Back to the image, in it we can see Gwenpool and X-23 walking side by side, on one side, we have Gwenpool who being faithful to her colors, is wearing a white suit with pink tones. This is complemented with an orange belt where we can notice that she is wearing different tools for the battle, a very similar set is worn on her wrists.
Gwenpool wears on her back two swords, which allude to the character of “Deadpool”, her outfit is complemented by the use of a mask, which is different from the one we are used to seeing in its original design and different from his compatriot “Deadpool”, this does not cover his entire face, revealing his chin and mouth.
Now we move from Gwenpool to X-23, which is wearing a full body suit that pays homage to the original Wolverine suit obviously highlighted by the yellow and blue color, which makes her look powerful like her predecessor. Laura or X-23 wears the mutant’s original mask with metal claws, which is an excellent touch for fans of this character.
The first part of this illustration is enhanced by the dystopian background, where we can notice how while our characters are walking in the center of the image, behind them we can see a dystopian landscape dominated by earth colors and the 20th Century Fox logo buried under the sand.
The fanart of Gwenpool and X-23 is divided in two parts, we already talked about the first image that makes our characters look powerful and as if they were coming out of a battle in triumph. Something very different from what we can notice in the second part of the illustration, where Gwen and Laura take off their heroine masks to move on to a fun image.
In this second part it seems that Gwenpool and X-23 are fighting, we notice as if they were in an office, we see Gwen showing a nervous smile while it seems that she wants to stop Laura who is with a fist under her chin and with the other fist on the forehead of her partner.
As you could notice, the fanart of Gwenpool and X-23 looks sensational, the colors are striking and the girls look gorgeous.
