The video game company Kuro Games, began the development of one of its biggest hits, Wuthering Waves for the PlayStation 5 console which will put this gacha at the height of other great titles such as Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero. To date, Chinese video game developer Kuro Games has created 3 video games since its founding, Twin Tall Battleground in 2016 (discontinued), Punishing: Gray Raven from 2019 which still continues with updates and its most recent release: Wuthering Waves, which has been released in this 2024 to face all Free To Play open world action video games, being a huge success, so the developers decided to go a step further and make it multiplatform, moving it firstly to PlayStation 5 with its great graphics engine Unreal Engine 5.
In these few months of development, Wuthering Waves has been considered as a likely game to take the throne from Genshin Impact and not Hoyoverse. Kuro Games has made it look so far, as it is one of the video games that has the same characteristics as the previous title mentioned, minus one: temporality, and it is that many years will have to pass to win the fan base that Genshin Impact obtained over time, as Hoyoverse was founded in 2011 while Kuro Games was created in 2017.
The graphics of Wuthering Waves progress are at a superlative level, they have managed to get the maximum potential out of everything and create a great promise that could be the successor of Genshin Impact. It is due to the graphics engine Unreal Engine 5 that there would not be a version for PlayStation 4 although at first it had been confirmed that yes, being that many fans showed their dissatisfaction at the news, because although it will be released on PS5 that there is no information of PS4 alerted many. The developers did not give specific details such as release date, but have unleashed a lot of excitement among users with the announcement that there will be an improved version of the game after the most recent update 1.1 “Thaw of Eons” which introduced new and exciting content, plus 2 5-star resonators: Jinhsi and Changli that bring new dynamics to the game.
