Witch Watch manga confirms anime adaptation

The Weekly Shonen Jump surprised many people last weekend, as it was announced that the manga Witch Watch, written and illustrated by Kenta Shinohara, would be receiving an anime adaptation. This made many fans fascinated by the news, since they had been waiting for a long time for something like this to be announced and after so long it became a reality for thousands of people who follow the work.

Through the Weekly Shonen Jump and the official Twitter account, it was announced that the manga Witch Watch would be receiving an anime adaptation that would possibly arrive in April of next year, which is good news, since it won’t take long to see how they made an effort to animate this fun romance comedy. It is also worth mentioning that a trailer has been officially launched to announce its upcoming broadcast next year.

As you can see in the promotional video of Witch Watch, there are several scenes where you can easily appreciate what the anime is going to be about, being that it is going to become a series that will leave many people wanting to see more. Thanks to the trailer you can see that it has many scenes of comedy, some that at first glance do not seem to make sense and a little love which is what this series is about, so it can easily become the favorite of many people.

Taking advantage of the big news, the author of Witch Watch, Kenta Shinohara dedicated a few words on Twitter/X in which the following fragments stand out: “Witch Watch becoming an anime is thanks to the support I have received from everyone, thank you very much”, “To be honest, this had been decided a long time ago and I was very anxious waiting for the announcement”, “While drawing the manuscript every week, I often thought that what I drew would be interesting to be turned into an anime”.

“After much consideration, I decided to get involved in every detail, I read the script in depth and was supervising many details, as an original author, sharing the things I notice and the parts I want to focus on will improve the quality of the work and make a great piece of work.” And finally it is mentioned in his comments that he is looking forward to the broadcast of Witch Watch and hopes everyone enjoys it.

Witch Watch is scheduled to premiere in April of next year and the studio in charge of this adaptation will be Bibury Animation Studios, who have been in charge of producing series such as Gotoubun no Hanayome and The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You. This is why it is expected that this anime will be very well animated, as we could already see in the little preview that has already made a lot of fans happy and eagerly await the release of the anime adaptation of Witch Watch.
