Wind Breaker Visual

The anime Wind Breaker has the following description: From an early age, Haruka Sakura became an outcast due to his unconventional appearance and lack of social skills. However, harsh treatment turned him into a skilled fighter, which is now the only thing he prides himself on. Starting at Furin High School, where it is rumored that strength is valued more than academics, Sakura has only one goal: to get first place.

Involved in a street fight the day before her matriculation, Sakura meets a group of her future high school classmates by chance. Instead of the usual rejection, they fight alongside her, proving that what the school really cares about is protecting the city of Makochi from harm – hence the students call themselves “Bofurin.” Surprised by the support and appreciation of the townspeople, Sakura finds it hard to accept their goodwill.

Although unfamiliar with the kindness they show her, Sakura must learn to overcome her discomfort when Bofurin faces formidable enemies. After experiencing the feeling of acceptance, she finds herself fighting for the good of others for the first time.
