We had the opportunity to play Solo Leveling:Arise, the new title for smartphones and PC of the webtoon phenomenon that recently inspired an anime adaptation produced by the prestigious animation studio A1-Pictures.
An exciting start that complements the webtoon and anime to perfection
The first thing we notice when we start our journey is that the events seen in the first episodes of the webtoon and the anime are summarized to advance even further in the extensive story that Solo Leveling:Arise has. Although it may seem at first glance that it could be somewhat accelerated, the developer studio contemplates that many players have already experienced the introduction in the webtoon and anime formats, so it makes it more digestible for those who explore for the first time this third format in video games.
Outstanding graphics
Netmarble has done an excellent job in taking perfect care of the video game’s performance on portable devices, providing them with an excellent performance that is perfectly accompanied by avant-garde graphics that surprise from start to finish.
At no time in our game we experienced any technical inconvenience that made us lose FPS or that the game crashes, demonstrating that with talent any video game for mobile devices can shine.
Fluid gameplay, worthy of a Hack and slash
Solo Leveling:Arise offers us a wide variety of options to make our experience much more dynamic, having multiple ways to defeat the same enemy and being able to have a party that will help us at all times with attacks, species to deal with waves of enemies.
The game contemplates that some players prefer to play this title with control, so it implements compatibility with third-party controllers, as in my case I use an Xbox Elite 2.0. It is noted that Netmarble was aware that some players would prefer to enjoy a much more immersive experience and have made this game as accessible as possible with peripherals.
Extensive possibilities to create our party and equip ourselves with the best weapons
In our options menu, we will have a lobby that will work as a link to navigate between the various features offered by Solo Leveling: Arise. The first of these features is Draw, a section that will allow us to obtain SSR characters and weapons. To participate in this draw, we can use the in-game currency or special tickets that we will obtain as we advance in the story.
However, our options do not end here. We will also be able to create items and enjoy a wide variety of activities designed to obtain valuable resources, which are essential to progress in the videogame.
Should I play Solo Leveling:Arise?
If you are a great fan of the Solo Leveling franchise or if you are fascinated by the Hack and slash genre, we can definitely say that you will like this game. So we invite you to be attentive to when this title is officially launched, especially because due to its format it can be enjoyed from the comfort of any place.
