The problem has reached the island of Mahana, our village, protected by the spirit of Red, a world-renowned hero, and the Guardian Ratha. We are the grandson of this great hero and, as Rider, we can tame beasts or “monsties” with which we create a bond throughout the plot.
As the story progresses, we meet a Wyverian girl named Ena, who entrusts us with an egg containing the hatchling of a Rathalos.
