Tsubasa Hanekawa is one of the many emblematic characters of the “Monogatari series“, a collection of light novels written by Nishio Jin and illustrated by Vofan since 2006, and now there is spectacular news for fans of this beautiful and peculiar girl with glasses. This is the re-release of a very special collectible figure in which Tsubasa Hanekawa and her alter ego steal all the attention of the scene recreated by the manufacturer Union Creative and the sculptor Design COCO.

The figure shows the two young angelic girls holding hands and in a posture that seems to be reflected in two opposite halves. It highlights the great contrasted expressiveness of these girls, on one side the soft and shy expression of Tsubasa’s face while her other counterpart shows a smile that is playful and aggressive. Both complement each other in a curious combination of 2 figures, in one highlighting the contrast between the hair color and personalities of these adorable girls.
Tsubasa’s black hair is neatly gathered by ribbons and two cute white cat-shaped barrettes, forming braids throughout her hair. The classic and iconic high school outfit consisting of a jacket outlines the beautiful silhouette of the girl’s slim, but well-endowed body with red outlines and sleeves and a small blue ribbon. For those who don’t know Nekomonogatari, it is about an incident that happened before BAKEMONOGATAR. On her way to the bookstore, Koyomi Araragi encounters Tsubasa Hanekawa whose face is covered with a bandage. The incident lets Koyomi know what has been going on in the Hanekawa household, but Tsubasa begs her not to tell anyone about it, saying she will do anything to keep him quiet.
Without revealing his family’s circumstances, Koyomi tells the day’s incident (he and Tsubasa buried a “cat” that had been hit by a car) to Meme Oshino. Meme tells Koyomi that he must go immediately to confirm Hanekawa’s safety. She heads to his house, only to find. Thus begins the nightmarish nine days of Golden Week.
