According to the official website of the anime adaptation of the manga Shounen Tougen Anki (Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood), the series will premiere on Japanese television on June 11. It was also confirmed that the group BAND-MAID will be in charge of the closing theme song, titled “What is justice?
It was also announced that Tougen Anki will have a special preview on June 21 of this year. This event will be held in movie theaters in Japan and will consist of a screening of the first three episodes of the series.

The production team for the Tougen Anki anime is as follows: Ato Nonaka is in charge of directing the anime along with Hiroyuki Hashimoto, who will assist in directing. The animation studio Studio Hibari is in charge of the production of the anime. Yukie Sugawara is in charge of writing and supervising the anime’s scripts. Ryoko Amisaki is in charge of character design for the anime. Kohta Yamamoto is in charge of composing the anime’s soundtrack. Pony Canyon is credited with the production of the anime’s soundtrack.

Tougen Anki is a dark fantasy adventure shonen manga written and illustrated by Yura Urushibara. This manga began to be published in the Weekly Shonen Champion magazine of the Japanese publisher Akita Shoten since June 2020. Currently, the Tougen Anki manga is still in serialization and has, to date, a total of 23 compilation volumes.
In May 2024, Akita Shoten announced the production of an anime adaptation of the Tougen Anki manga.
