KADOKAWA Company has revealed a special surprise for fans of the “Toradora!” franchise in commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the anime adaptation of the original light novel. This special surprise takes the form of a stunning figurine inspired by the story’s female protagonist, Taiga Aisaka, nicknamed as “Compact Tiger” in the work.
The Taiga Aisaka figure was also presented on the official website of KADOKAWA’s figure division, KDcolle, where it was specified that the product will be released for sale in Japan in August of this year.

Dengeki Bunko’s popular novel “Toradora!” celebrated its 15th anniversary as a TV anime. The illustration, drawn by Masayoshi Tanaka, who worked on the character design for the anime series, has been transformed into a figure.
In addition to the elegant white outfit, the hair ornaments and modeling of the kimono highlight the volume and sense of dynamism typical of Taiga, making this item a coveted item for fans – it comes with removable cotton hat pieces!

It should be noted that this figure of Taiga Aisaka will have a height of approximately 220 mm, a width of 235 mm and a depth of 160 mm. Additionally, it was noted that the product will be available at a price of 29,700 yen, which is equivalent to $200.32 U.S. dollars.
The light novel “Toradora!” is by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. It was first published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko imprint in March 2006. The work concluded with a total of 10 volumes published.
October 2, 2008 marked the premiere of the anime adaptation of the light novel “Toradora!“. This adaptation consists of 25 episodes, 1 OVA and 4 specials. The animation studio J.C. Staff assumed responsibility for the anime production, under the direction of Tatsuyuki Nagai. The series is legally available on the Crunchyroll platform.
“Toradora!” presents a story wrapped up in the unusual but captivating dynamic between two high school students Ryuuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka. Ryuuji, despite his gentle nature and love for housework, is constantly misunderstood due to his intimidating appearance. On the other hand, Taiga, nicknamed the “Palm Tree Tiger” for her small stature and feisty personality, hides a more vulnerable side.
Fate brings these two characters together when an embarrassing incident puts them on the same path. Ryuuji discovers Taiga’s secret: her crush on the popular vice president, Yuusaku Kitamura, who happens to be Ryuuji’s best friend. However, the plot thickens further when Ryuuji confesses his own crush on Minori Kushieda, Taiga’s best friend.
