Although in all this time no update was given about its production, the official media of the franchise announced its participation in the GA FES 2025 event, where new information could be released, according to several reports.
Well, the day of the GA FES 2025 event has arrived and finally, more details about the expected anime adaptation of the light novel Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai have been presented, confirming its premiere scheduled for October this year, revealing its first teaser video, among other things.

Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni dake Uzai, abbreviated as ImoUza, is a romantic comedy light novel written by Ghost Mikawa and illustrated by Tomari. The work began publication at SB Creative Publishing House’s GA Bunko imprint from April 15, 2019. Currently, SB Creative Publishing House has released a total of 10 volumes.
Ghost Mikawa and Tomari’s work has a manga adaptation, which is in publication through Square Enix publisher’s Manga UP! service. This version features illustrations by Hira Hiraoka.
