In a recent update on the Twitter/X social network of “@ponycan_anime“, it was officially announced that the sequel to Tokyo Revengers is now a reality for fans of the series. In addition, the first trailer and a Key visual showing the main characters of the story: Takemichi Hanagaki and Manjiro Sano (Mickey). This sequel comes developing the story left in the previous arc Tokyo revengers Tenjku Arc and more information such as a tentative release date is not yet known.

In the Tokyo Revengers manga and its anime adaptation, we are introduced to Takemichi Hanagaki, a cowardly boy who lives his adulthood like anyone else in the world. With little encouragement he goes about his daily routine, until he notices in the news that his ex-girlfriend from high school, Hinata Tachibana has died involved in Tokyo Manjiku gang affairs. This makes him investigate the matter, but he does not want to meddle too much, since that was just a past love, on the train tracks, while waiting for the arrival of the train, Takemichi thinks about his life, without realizing it, he is pushed to the tracks in a last breath.
At the moment of his death, Takemichi does not see the light at the end of the tunnel, but… His old high school, now he has traveled back to his time as a rebellious teenager with dyed hair and trustworthy friends. From this moment on he will learn the truth about time travel, the reason for the death of his beloved and the corruption of the Tokyo Manjiku gang. Now, carrying the weight of fate on his shoulders, this weeping hero will raise his smile in the worst of times to give will and hope. A series that can motivate many to carry on.
