Today, My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) released its 430th chapter of the manga, being this one, if not the most important of all, since it was the end of a story that has been published for more than 10 years. And although the anime is still on air with several episodes left to go, the manga’s fan readers were able to know how Izuki Midoriya’s journey to become the number one hero came to an end. Deku’s story in My Hero Academia comes to an end in chapter 430
After 10 years in publication, finally the manga of My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) reached its end, which was in chapter 430 and served as a denouement for the story of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, one of the most important characters of the medium. In this chapter we were shown how the protagonist is 8 years after the events that took place in the battle against Tomura Shigaraki that ended with a victory for the heroes, being that this is part of Deku’s past, who now, after having lost the One For All, has become a school teacher.
Throughout the chapter we were shown how was the life of the different members of the 1-A class of which Deku was part and where most of the main heroes of My Hero Academia come from, each one serving society by doing what they do best: protecting and helping others. Among these we have characters like Uraraka or Asui touring the different schools in the country, while both Todoroki or Bakugo continue to stop the few villains who are still causing trouble.
One of the most touching moments of the chapter comes when Midoriya meets Dai, a young man who does not feel confident to become a hero, as his power is very useless, being that Deku gives him the necessary support to believe in him, just as All Might had done in the past. With a last panel of the protagonist of My Hero Academia heading to Shiketsu Academy is that the manga ends, or at least that’s what they want to make the reader believe, as All Might himself rips off the end of the page to give rise to the second part of the ending.
The legendary former number one hero arrives to share a few words with his disciple, but that’s not the only thing he brings with him: he created, along with a specialized group, a new combat suit for Deku, which will give him the same power he had before losing the One For All. With the protagonist of My Hero Academia recovering part of his essence as a hero, we see a panel in which Bakugo extends his hand to Deku to enlist in the job, ending now with a full panel where we see the entire class 1-A and ending with My Hero Academia.
The creator of the work, Kohei Horikoshi had announced some time ago that he did not want any sequel or prequel, so this really would be the definitive end of My Hero Academia. After a little more than 10 years, the end of this story came and the fans made it known on social networks, and thousands of comments have been made, with divided opinions about this outcome, but in the end it closed with the story of Deku and his path with his friends to become the best heroes.
