The first of these will be the Loguetown arc. This arc covers chapters 96-100 of the manga found in volumes 11 and 12. In turn, in the anime we find this art in episodes 45 and from 48 to 53 of the anime. The Loguetown arc is the sixth and final arc of the East Blue saga. Here, our One Piece characters stop for the last time before venturing to “Grand Line” to gather the necessary supplies.

This is the last island of the East Blue and it is an important place, since, here Gold Roger was born and died. Also, in this part of the story, Luffy and his crew meet two relevant characters of the series, “Dragon” and “Smoker”. The next arc to be adapted is the “Reverse Mountain” arc, also known as “Laboon’s Arc”, which is found in chapters 101 to 105 of the manga that are within volume 12 of the manga.

In the anime, these arcs take place in episodes 62 and 63. With this arc, the “Arabasta” saga begins. Here, Luffy’s crew, known as “The Straw Hats”, intend to cross the “Reverse Mountain” in order to enter the “Grand Line”, but they encounter an obstacle while doing so, and that is how their adventure in the “Pirate Graveyard” begins. Despite being a very short arc in One Piece, it is very pivotal for a new member to join the team later on.

The next One Piece arc that will be part of the second season of the live-action will be the “Whisky Peak” arc, which is found in chapters 106 to 114 of the manga that are part of volumes 12 and 13. On the other hand, in the anime this arc takes place in episodes 64 to 67. This is the second arc that is part of the “Arabasta” saga. This arc takes place mainly in the “Cactus Island”, the first island they visit in the “Grand Line”.

Since the crew finally has a “Log Pose”, this special compass needed to navigate on the “Grand Line”, this group heads to “Whisky Peak”, a town peculiar for welcoming pirates in a big way and treating them like celebrities. Clearly, this has a mystery behind it and, the reality is, the inhabitants of this place are actually bounty hunters belonging to an organization that becomes an enemy of Luffy’s crew.

The next One Piece arc to be adapted will be the “Little Garden” arc that takes place in chapters 115 to 129 of the manga, which are in volumes 13 to 15. And in the anime, we can find them in chapters 70 to 77. This arc is the third of the “Arabasta” saga and takes place on the island of “Little Garden”, the third island that “The Straw Hats” visit within the “Grand Line”. This island has no inhabitants other than the dinosaurs and Dorry and Brogy, two giants.

Finally, in the second season of the One Piece live-action, we will have the arc of “The Island of Drum”, which is found in chapters 130 to 154 of the manga, which are in volumes 15 to 17. In the anime, this arc takes place in episodes 78 to 91. This is the fourth arc of the “Arabasta” saga. “Drum”, is the third island that the crew of ‘The Straw Hats’ visit on the ‘Grand Line’.

This island has a rather harsh winter climate that they meet when they deviate from their course to Arabasta because they are looking for a doctor to treat Nami’s illness and it is here, where “Tony Tony Chopper” is introduced, one of the most popular characters of One Piece and who becomes the crew’s doctor. What do you think of the arcs that will be adapted in this second season of One Piece’s live-action?
