The popular video game Fortnite: Battle Royale has collaborated with the shonen anime My Hero Academia repeatedly: First it added skins and items for Midoriya, Bakugo, Uraraka and All Might, while the second collaboration had skins and items for Mina, Kirishima and Todoroki. But all of these characters are heroes, and people were looking forward to seeing content based on the series’ villains in Fortnite. Luckily, that’s going to change with this exciting new collaboration.
You can purchase skins of Shigaraki, Dabi and Toga from My Hero Academia in Fortnite.
This was an anticipated collaboration that was long overdue, but is finally available in the Fortnite: Battle Royale store, as officially announced by Epic Games through the game’s official site. Unfortunately, this time they didn’t release an animated trailer to announce it. However, right now you can use your PaVos to buy skins and items based on 3 iconic antagonists from My Hero Academia: Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga and Dabi. These are definitely the 3 most popular villains in the series, so it makes complete sense that they were the first to be added to Fortnite.
Of course, not only will you be able to get skins of these characters, but each one also comes with some fun aesthetic items that represent their personalities perfectly: Shigaraki comes with a Deteriorated Scythe Beak (in reference to his destructive Gift) an adorable Nomu backpack and even the Deteriorated Crossbow Gesture, in reference to one of his iconic poses in the My Hero Academia series. A curious fact is that Shigaraki’s skin can have his hood removed or put on, depending on the player’s preference.
On the other hand, Dabi comes with a Blue Flame Lighter backpack and a Blue Flame Sickle Pick, both in reference to the powerful flames he produces with his Gift. But the star of this third collaboration between Fortnite and My Hero Academia is the lovable villain Himiko Toga, who comes with a Transformation Tanks backpack, her signature knife, the Himiko Toga Blade and the Toga’s Joy gesture. Like Shigaraki, Toga can equip or remove his mask, depending on whether the player wishes to see his mischievous smile or not.
You can get all of these items and skins in Fortnite by purchasing The League of Villains Bundle, which will cost you about 3800 PaVos. This collaboration is an excellent addition for all My Hero Academia fans. However, this series has even more charismatic villains that would be great to see in this game, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they make a second similar pack with content from other characters like All For One, Overhaul or Stain in the near future.
