The official media for the anime adaptation of the light novel Ishura announced that its second season is scheduled to premiere in Japan in January 2025. Along with this news, a promotional video for the new installment of the series was shared, which presents a small preview of what awaits us in the second season.

Additionally, the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novel “Ishura” introduced the new members of the voice cast: Mariya Ise will play “Kaishin no Kuuro”, Miku Itou will play Mayoi no Kyunee and Rikiya Koyama will play Chiheihou no Mele.
The production team for the second season of Ishura is as follows: Takeo Takahashi is the chief director, while Yuki Ogawa will be the series director. Passione animation studio is in charge of production and Sanzigen studio will be in charge of CG animation. Kenta Ihara will be in charge of writing and supervising the scripts.
Ishura is a light adventure novel that is written by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta. The novel began publication in the month of September 2019 in the Dengeki no Shin Bungeki imprint of ASCII Media Works Publishing House. Currently, the Ishura light novel is still in publication and a total of 9 volumes have been released by ASCII Media Works.
A manga adaptation of the Ishura light novel began publication in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in March 2021. This adaptation is illustrated by Meguri and is still in serialization. Thanks to the good reception of the public, the Ishura light novel received its respective anime adaptation.
The anime adaptation of Ishura premiered in Japan on January 3 of this year. The series was produced by Passione animation studio together with Sanzigen and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. At the end of the broadcast of its last episode, the production of a second season for the series was announced to the public.
