Japanese publisher Kodansha has surprised fans of the Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan (My Deer Friend Nokotan) franchise by unveiling the official cover of the seventh compilation volume of the Oshioshio manga. According to the information presented on the official website of the publisher Kodansha, the new volume of the comedy manga Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan is scheduled to be released in stores and bookstores in Japan on March 7, 2025 and will have 128 pages in total. This volume will be available at a price of 759 yen.

Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, also known as My Deer Friend Nokotan in the West, is a comedy manga that is written and illustrated by mangaka Oshioshio. The work began its publication in the Shonen Magazine Edge which belongs to the Japanese publisher Kodansha. Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan is still in serialization and has 6 compilation volumes released in total.
In July 2024, the manga Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan released its respective anime adaptation, which consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The anime studio Wit Studio was in charge of its production, and it was legally broadcast on the Crunchyroll and Anime Onegai platforms.
