The official media of Japanese publisher KADOKAWA has presented new updates on the 14th compilation volume for the manga adaptation of the light novel The Eminence in Shadow (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!). Among these updates is the official cover of this volume, which will feature the characters Delta and Zeta.
However, that’s not all, as the official website of the publisher KADOKAWA also reported that volume 14 of The Eminence in Shadow manga is scheduled to be released in shops and bookstores in Japan on November 25th, with a total of 144 pages.

Information about The Eminence in Shadow:
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!, also known as ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ in the West, is a light novel in the isekai genre that combines elements of action, comedy and fantasy. It was written by Daisuke Aizawa and features illustrations by Touzai. The work was first published in November 2018 by Enterbrain (Kadokawa).
A manga adaptation by illustrator Anri Sakano has been published in Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine since December 2018.
On 5 October 2022, the light novel ‘The Eminence in Shadow’ premiered its anime adaptation, which was split into 2 seasons for a total of 32 episodes. Production responsibility for the series falls to the renowned animation studio NEXUS, with Kazuya Nakanishi directing. The series will hit the Netflix platform on 29 November.
In addition, the anime The Eminence in Shadow has confirmed the production of a movie, which will release further updates soon.
The anime The Eminence in Shadow has the following description: The story follows the journey of Minoru Kagenou, an individual obsessed from an early age with achieving ultimate strength. His days are spent in a double life: during the daylight, Minoru disguises himself as an ordinary student, while in the shadows of night he wields a crowbar to mercilessly take on the local biker gangs. A tragic accident, however, seems to put an end to his ambitions, leaving him helpless in the face of his human limitations.
But the story takes an unexpected turn when Minoru awakens in a completely different world as Cid, the second son of the noble Kagenou family. Here, magic is an everyday reality and his desire for power materialises. Adopting the name ‘Shadow’, Cid founds Shadow Garden, a group destined to take on the mysterious Cult of Diablos, an organisation that, to Cid’s surprise, turns out to be more real than he imagined. With each step forward, Shadow Garden grows in numbers and power, revealing a plot that goes far beyond the fictional.
