The anime adaptation of the manga “Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu“(The Dangers in My Heart), the best romcom of the previous season for many, continues to stand out with more hits despite having already finished its broadcast. Anna Yamada and Kyotaro Ichikawa delivered a beautiful slice of life story filled with brilliant romantic comedy. This story captivated fans from the very first episode and now its success is reflected in an award show, where it was clear who was the winner this season.
The Dangers in My Heart was the favorite anime at awards ceremony
Anime Corner revealed this past April 6 through its official page on the social network X, that the anime The Dangers in My Heart season 2 crowned its great trajectory with a total of 13 awards won in different categories. These categories include the coveted Best Anime, followed by Best Male and Female Character, so it was only logical that they would also win Best Couple and Best Romance.
In other categories that may not be as renowned as those already mentioned, we found that this fabulous anime also won the nomination for best female supporting character, best adaptation (referring to how faithful it is to the manga and how it manages to adapt it). It was also the winner in the category of best slice of life, this undoubtedly makes it clear that it is the series of the moment that completely dominates this genre.
Regarding music, The Dangers in My Heart is not far behind either, as it was the winner in several categories such as best ending with the theme song titled “Koishiteru Jibun sura Aiseru n da” by Kohana Lam and best soundtrack, which shows the attention to detail that the production and the team behind this anime has. The quality of this adaptation is even reflected in its music, which was an important factor in captivating the audience.
Another category of great interest in which The Dangers in My Heart swept the board was the voice actors, winning the awards for best voice cast, best female seiyuu and best male seiyuu. These were the categories in which the anime participated and came out triumphant, there were a total of 13 categories won. This resounding success in these awards along with the support of the fans can bring us great surprises in the future, such as more seasons or additional material.

“Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu” follows the life of Kyoutaro Ichikawa, a high school student whose life appears ordinary at first glance. However, deep in his heart, he harbors a dark desire for revenge and his mind is consumed by a single obsession: to put an end to the presence of the popular idol of the class, Anna Yamada.
Among the corridors of the school library, Ichikawa is surprised to meet Yamada, who secretly visits the place to satisfy her taste for sweets and treats. As they share these fleeting encounters, Ichikawa discovers Yamada’s more naive and perhaps somewhat awkward side, leading him to silently support her from a distance.
For his part, Yamada amuses himself by provoking Ichikawa, enjoying his nervous reactions. Between these everyday interactions, the initially distant bond between the two begins to transform into something deeper than a simple relationship between library acquaintances. In time, Ichikawa may realize that his desire for revenge has evolved into a completely different feeling.
