In an event held at the Tokyo Anime Center, the anime adaptation of the manga by Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa, “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo), has provided new information about its expected second season and confirmed its premiere for January 2025.
However, that’s not all, since this announcement was accompanied by an amazing visual image, which will feature the protagonist’s girlfriends Rentarou Aijou, Hakari Hanazono, Karane Inda, Shizuka Yoshimoto, Nano Eiai, Yakuzen Kusuri and Hahari Hanazono. In addition, the visual also introduces us to the characters Kurumi Haraga, Iku Sutou, Mimimi Utsukushisugi and Meme Kakure, who will be Rentarou’s next targets in this new installment of the series.
The 100 Girlfriends Season 2 to Premiere in January 2025
Along with this round of news, The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You anime also introduced the new voice cast members, and those selected were as follows: Amane Shindo will voice Kurumi Haraga, Rie Takahashi will play Iku Sutou, Lynn will lend her voice for Mimimi Utsukushisugi, and Kanon Takao will play Meme Kakure.
It is worth noting that today the anime series “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” held a special event called “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You: Love For Family“.

Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaisuki Na 100-nin no Kanojo, also known as “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” in the West, is a romantic comedy and harem manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa.
The manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” began serializing in Shueisha Publishing House’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since December 2019 and is still in publication. Shueisha Publishing has released 17 compilation volumes in total and the work has managed to surpass 1.4 million copies in circulation.
On October 8, 2023, the manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” released its respective anime adaptation which consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The anime studio Bibury Animation Studio, known for its work in the second season of the anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets“, was in charge of its production and was legally and simultaneously broadcast in America through the Crunchyroll platform.
“The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” tells the story of Rentarou Aijou, a young man who has experienced numerous love disappointments. Exhausted from this situation, it seems that fortune smiles on him for the first time when he comes across a curious shrine that caught his attention.
After performing a prayer at a shrine, the god of the place grants him an amazing opportunity: to meet a hundred soul mates at his high school. Although skeptical at first, Rentarou soon discovers the truth of the god’s words when two girls, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, confess their love to him the same day they meet him.
However, the god omits a crucial catch: if either of his soul mates fails to establish a relationship with him, she will face death. Now, with the fate of his one hundred soul mates in his hands, Rentarou decides to accept the challenge and date them all. With a brave and generous heart, Rentarou embarks on an emotional and chaotic journey, as his family of soul mates continues to grow.
Amidst situations both hilarious and romantic, “The 100 True Loves” explores Rentarou’s struggle to keep all of his crushes happy as he attempts to deepen his connections with each of them.
