After its recent sixth episode of the anime The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) many fans were delighted by the plot that was addressed in the chapter, and by plot I mean the amount of fanservice that was shown as an episode on the beach, which was quickly the subject of conversation on social networks.
Although everything seemed to go well after its premiere, sooner rather than later, a small disagreement came to light among a group of fans towards a website, specifically the English page Anime News Network (ANN), because it shared as usual in its content, a review of chapter 6 of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love. In this we see that they are talking about points in favor of the series and that it knew how to address the excitement of an episode on the beach, bringing with it the glory of these long-awaited episodes, although the latter brought them a problem with the fans.
Anime News Network in the eye of the storm for review of sixth episode of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love
Through social networks, a user shared his opinion on the article of The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love in ANN, where he mentions that this site comes to praise the popular series when previously he had strongly criticized the fanservice presented in anime such as Uzaki-chan and Fire Force by the characters of Hana Uzaki and Tamaki Kotatsu, who are known for their high dose fanservice that they bring to their respective series thanks to their attributes.
Now then, the creator of this note was editor Nicholas Dupree who mentions throughout his review about the disappearance of the beach episodes in the series, and that in some they were portrayed as decadent by serving only as fanservice, although he later points out that in The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love the issue of one of the girlfriends is solved in a rather clever way and that he was surprised by not expecting them to change the “structure” of the beach episode.
After that, he goes on to mention aspects related to the brides in bathing suits, a common thing in that kind of episodes, while still praising the story that is addressed in the episode. The opinion of the editor could be interpreted with a bit of incoherence by mentioning that he does not like it, but that this episode was an exception in his taste for this type of episode.
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love has been a series that has been most loved since its premiere, and some expected to encounter some kind of problem in the future because of the story or the future girlfriends that would make up the harem of Rentaro, so this kind of event was quite surprising to many users and some have remained neutral about this situation.
At the end of the day, you may or may not like The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love, whatever people’s opinion is, it should be respected and this should not be a reason to cancel or generate controversy, because of what one thinks of x chapter or series. We all have had favorite series and series that have not convinced us, but not for this reason, we will not seek to have issues with people who do not share our same opinion.
It is worth mentioning that within ANMO Sugoi we respect the opinions of all anime consumers and that we have remained neutral when dealing with this type of topic. We do not seek to offend or funar any person.
