The popular anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) has provided the public with new updates about its fourth Blu-Ray volume and, through its official media, the cover of this package was presented.
It is worth noting that the cover illustration for this Blu-Ray volume was created by Ayane Kano, the series’ character designer, and will feature the beautiful Nano Eiai, and as in the covers of the previous volumes, it maintains the curious theme of showing the protagonist Rentarou Aijou’s girlfriends as if they were approaching each other for a kiss.

Additionally, the official website of the anime “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” specified that this volume is scheduled to be released for sale in Japan on June 26th of this year and will contain episodes 7 and 8 of the series. Additionally, it was confirmed that this volume will be available at a price of 7,700 yen, although unlike the other Blu-Ray volumes, this package will not include tickets for a special event that the series will be holding soon.
The anime adaptation of the manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You” began airing on television in Japan starting last October 8, 2023 and consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The animation studio Bibury Animation Studio, recognized for its work in the second season of the anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets“, was in charge of its production and it was legally simulcast through the Crunchyroll platform.
The people involved in the production of the series are as follows: Hikaru Sato, who previously worked on the anime “Dropkick on My Devil!“, will direct. Takashi Aoshima, known for his contribution to the anime “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!“, will be in charge of the series’ composition, while Ayane Kano, known for her work on the anime “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki“, will be in charge of character design. The music will be a collaboration between Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa and eba, composing for the Lantis record label.

“The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” tells the story of Rentarou Aijou, a young man who has experienced numerous love disappointments. Exhausted from this situation, it seems that fortune smiles on him for the first time when he comes across a curious shrine that caught his attention.
After performing a prayer at a shrine, the god of the place grants him an amazing opportunity: to meet a hundred soul mates at his high school. Although skeptical at first, Rentarou soon discovers the truth of the god’s words when two girls, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, confess their love to him the same day they meet him.
However, the god omits a crucial catch: if either of his soul mates fails to establish a relationship with him, she will face death. Now, with the fate of his one hundred soul mates in his hands, Rentarou decides to accept the challenge and date them all. With a brave and generous heart, Rentarou embarks on an emotional and chaotic journey, as his family of soul mates continues to grow.
Amidst situations both hilarious and romantic, “The 100 True Loves” explores Rentarou’s struggle to keep all of his crushes happy as he attempts to deepen his connections with each of them.
