The official website for the anime adaptation of the romantic comedy and harem manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) has unveiled to the public the official cover art for the fifth Blu-Ray compilation volume of the series.
For this occasion, the cover illustration of the fifth Blu-Ray volume of the anime The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You features the adorable and captivating Kusuri Yakuzen, who will have her child and adult versions on the front and back covers of the package. It is worth noting that the illustration was created by Ayane Kano, the series’ character designer.

According to the report made on the official website of the anime The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You, this volume is scheduled to be released for sale in Japan on July 24 of this year and will contain episodes 9 and 10 of the series. Additionally, it was confirmed that this volume will be available at a price of 7,700 yen, although unlike the other Blu-Ray volumes, this package will only have the benefits of an original art book, a picture of Yakuzen Kusuri, Audio Drama #5, among other things.
The people who have been involved in the production of the series are as follows: Hikaru Sato, who previously worked on the anime “Dropkick on My Devil!”, will be directing. Takashi Aoshima, known for his contribution to the anime “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!“, will be in charge of the series’ composition, while Ayane Kano, known for her work on the anime “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki“, will be in charge of character design. The music will be a collaboration between Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa and eba, composing for the Lantis record label.

Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaisuki Na 100-nin no Kanojo, also known as “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” in the West, is a romantic comedy and harem manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa.
The manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” began serializing in Shueisha Publishing House’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since December 2019 and is still in publication. Shueisha Publishing has released 18 compilation volumes in total and the work has managed to surpass 1.4 million copies in circulation.
On October 8, 2023, the manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” released its respective anime adaptation which consisted of a total of 12 episodes. Bibury Animation Studio, known for its work in the second season of the anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets“, was in charge of its production and was legally and simultaneously broadcast in America through the Crunchyroll platform.
At the end of the broadcast of its last episode, the production committee of the anime “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” announced the production of a second season. Months later, it was confirmed that this new installment is scheduled to premiere in January 2025.
“The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” tells the story of Rentarou Aijou, a young man who has experienced numerous love disappointments. Exhausted from this situation, it seems that fortune smiles on him for the first time when he comes across a curious shrine that caught his attention.
After performing a prayer at a shrine, the god of the place grants him an amazing opportunity: to meet a hundred soul mates at his high school. Although skeptical at first, Rentarou soon discovers the truth of the god’s words when two girls, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, confess their love to him the same day they meet him.
However, the god omits a crucial catch: if either of his soul mates fails to establish a relationship with him, she will face death. Now, with the fate of his one hundred soul mates in his hands, Rentarou decides to accept the challenge and date them all.
