Riding on huge fan expectations for its second season, the anime adaptation of the harem manga and romantic comedy, “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” (Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo), made an appearance at Japan’s renowned “AnimeJapan 2024” event with a live performance featuring voice actresses Kaede Hondo (voice of Hakari Hanazono), Miyu Tomita (voice of Karane Inda) and Sumire Uesaka (voice of Hahari Hanazono).

In this live presentation, although no new information about the long-awaited second season of the anime “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” was released, a special surprise for fans of the mother of the protagonist Hakari Hanazono, Hahari Hanazono, was presented in the form of a promotional video that focuses on her.

As previously mentioned, this promotional video focuses on the character Hahari Hanazono and has been highlighted by fans of the anime “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” for presenting several scenes where she takes a leading role in the series. From scenes of her first appearance, to that “crush” she felt for the protagonist Rentarou Aijou, the video is a brief summary of what we could observe of her in the first season of the series.

Recall that after the conclusion of the first season, the official media of the anime “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You” confirmed the production of a second season. However, at that time not many details were released about a possible premiere date or other relevant information.

The anime adaptation of the manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really Love You” began airing on television in Japan on October 8, and the series will consist of a total of 12 episodes. The animation studio Bibury Animation Studio, recognized for its work in the second season of the anime “The Quintessential Quintuplets“, is in charge of its production and is being legally simulcast through the Crunchyroll platform.

The people involved in the production of the series are as follows: Hikaru Sato, who previously worked on the anime “Dropkick on My Devil!“, will direct.

Takashi Aoshima, known for his contribution to the anime “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!“, will be in charge of the series’ composition, while Ayane Kano, known for her work on the anime “Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki”, will be in charge of character design. The music will be a collaboration between Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa and eba, composing for the Lantis record label.

Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaidaisuki Na 100-nin no Kanojo, also known as “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” in the West, is a romantic comedy and harem manga written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa.

The manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” began serializing in Shueisha Publishing House’s Weekly Young Jump magazine since December 2019 and is still in publication. Shueisha Publishing has released 16 compilation volumes in total and the work has managed to surpass 1.4 million copies in circulation.

On October 8, 2023, the manga “The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” released its respective anime adaptation which consisted of a total of 12 episodes. The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You” tells the story of Rentarou Aijou, a young man who has experienced numerous love disappointments. Exhausted from this situation, it seems that fortune smiles on him for the first time when he comes across a curious shrine that caught his attention.

After performing a prayer at a shrine, the god of the place grants him an amazing opportunity: to meet a hundred soul mates at his high school. Although skeptical at first, Rentarou soon discovers the truth of the god’s words when two girls, Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda, confess their love to him the same day they meet him.

However, the god omits a crucial catch: if either of his soul mates fails to establish a relationship with him, she will face death. Now, with the fate of his one hundred soul mates in his hands, Rentarou decides to accept the challenge and date them all. With a brave and generous heart, Rentarou embarks on an emotional and chaotic journey, as his family of soul mates continues to grow.

Amidst situations both hilarious and romantic, “The 100 True Loves” explores Rentarou’s struggle to keep all of his crushes happy as he attempts to deepen his connections with each of them.

Will he be able to keep his promise to be the perfect boyfriend for all of them or will he face the heartbreaking consequences?
