In official media for the anime adaptation of the light novel “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken” (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), it has been revealed that the next season of the series is scheduled to premiere in Japan during April 2024. In addition, a new promotional video has been released featuring highlights of this exciting new phase of the series.

Along with this report, it was confirmed that the third season of the anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will be broadcast in two consecutive parts. But that’s not all, as the official website of the series presented a new visual image for this new installment.
The group of professionals that will be part of the third installment of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will include Atsushi Nakayama as director of the anime. The responsibility for carrying out this season’s production falls to animation studio 8-Bit. Toshizo Nemoto will serve as script supervisor for the third season, while Ryouma Ebata will be in charge of character design.
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, also known as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in the West, is a light novel written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The work began publication under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels imprint since May 2014.
The work has a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami. It began its publication in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in March 2015. Some time ago, it was reported that the literary franchise surpassed 30 million copies in circulation.
On October 1, 2018, the light novel “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” released its anime adaptation. This adaptation consisted of two seasons, totaling 49 episodes, accompanied by 5 OVAs and a movie. The series was produced by the animation studio 8-Bit, with the direction divided between Yasuhito Kikuchi for the first season and Atsushi Nakayama for the second.
