Okagiri Shou, a well-known mangaka, has made his efforts for this spin-off manga, but for years he has not been able to update the work, ending it in its final cancellation.

A recent update on the Twitter/X social network of the official account “@ComicRIDE”, publisher of many interesting works such as Gluttony’s berserk or Kenja no Deshi wo Nanoru. Now it presents us with a discouraging news, which presents a letter from this publisher announcing the cancellation of the most popular spin-off manga of the Tensei Shitara Slime Slime Datta Ken: The ways of Monster Nation franchise. Many fans expressed their sadness and some long-time fans of the series, their words of encouragement to the mangaka: “I felt worried because the series had not received updates since 2022 on Twitter/X”, “I hope Okagiri-sensei recovers ponto, this was my favorite TenSura spin-off, it’s kind of sad”, “It’s a shame being one of the most beloved of the spin-offs, take care of yourself Okagriri-san”. All agree that it is a sad way to say goodbye to the manga, but also offer words of encouragement to their mangaka.
In the letter presented by the publisher by way of apology, it mentions that there was a time when they wanted to restart the series several times to resume the work, but Okagiri-san’s health had not improved, so the decision came to respect the work and its illustrator. The Tensei Shitara Slime franchise has had so much support since its release in anime, that it has already been aired for 3 animated seasons, the last one being one of the most anticipated, something we have detailed in this note on our page.
As part of this, we can only take comfort in the fact that the main series will continue the adventures of our favorite characters, although with the bittersweet taste of losing this precious manga. We can only wait for the announcement of some kind of work related to Tensei Shitara Slime and its universe, since the writer of the novel is still working on it.
