In order to build up fan hype for its third season, the anime adaptation of the light novel “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken” (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) has unveiled a fascinating new visual image to the public on its respective official media. It is worth noting that this visual commemorates the beginning of the next arc known as “Monster Capital Opening Festival“.

But that’s not all, as the official media of the anime Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken has also presented to the public an incredible promotional video that shows a small preview of what we will be able to see in the Monster Capital Opening Festival arc. In addition, the people responsible for performing the new theme songs for the third season of the series were also revealed. Momoiro Clover Z will perform the new opening and it will be titled “Reborn Serenade“, while MindaRyn will perform the new ending and it will be titled “Miracle Soup“.
Let’s remember that the third season of the TV anime Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken began its broadcasting in Japan last April 5 of this year. This new installment of the series is being broadcast legally and simultaneously through the Crunchyroll platform under the title That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and is being dubbed intoEnglish.
The production team involved in the new installment of the anime Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken is as follows: Atsushi Nakayama is in charge of directing the anime. The responsibility for carrying out the production of this season falls on the 8-Bit animation studio. Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken, also known as That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime in the West, is a light novel written by Fuse and illustrated by Mitz Vah. The work began publication under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels imprint since May 2014.
The work has a manga adaptation by Taiki Kawakami. It began its publication in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in March 2015. Some time ago, it was reported that the literary franchise managed to surpass 30 million copies in circulation.
On October 1, 2018, the light novel “That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” released its anime adaptation. This adaptation consisted of two seasons, totaling 48 episodes, accompanied by 5 OVAs, a movie and a third season currently airing. The production of the series was in charge of the animation studio 8-Bit, with the direction divided between Yasuhito Kikuchi for the first season and Atsushi Nakayama for the second.

“Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken” follows the extraordinary transformation of Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old man who, after a fatal incident on the streets of Tokyo, finds himself reincarnated in a completely unknown world as a slime slime. Equipped with unique abilities, such as the ability to devour and absorb the characteristics of anything, Satoru, now known as Rimuru Tempest, ventures on a journey full of surprises and discoveries.
In this new realm, Rimuru encounters the powerful sealed dragon “Veldora”, who had been locked away for centuries. After befriending Veldora and promising to help him break the seal, Rimuru receives divine protection and a new name.
