There is no doubt that fans have their favorite stories and one of them is Teasing Master Takagi-san (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) and with this they also begin to follow the author, as is the case of Soichiro Yamamoto who with his manga has achieved a very good reputation with his romantic comedy that now has even been adapted to live-action. But apart from his great success, his name has once again sounded among fans, but this time for a different reason, it is a spicy illustration that has surprised many.

As many of us already know, not all authors or illustrators of manga and light novels start in the same medium, that is to say, some begin their careers making their own stories, so sometimes these can be of the “whimsical” type. And as their style is recognized, they are invited to participate in other types of publications and even they themselves decide to leave this aside to make their own creation as more regular manga.
Nor can we rule out that it is impossible to go the other way around, from a regular publication to creating these more daring stories. A bit of this has to do with the author of Takagi-san, who while not having a similar past, or definitely going “over to the dark side”, did share via his Twitter/X account a manga panel that has taken some of his fans by surprise.
This of course happens often among mangakas, but now fans have indeed been shocked by the panel, others delighted and waiting for a continuation. But this is not his creation, this is a story by @itokonoko0804, who has recently started his manga Cousin’s Child, which he has described as “a romantic comedy of cousin’s daily life”, something that sounds quite wierd.
And these days he invited other mangakas to collaborate with their art in some panels of the manga, among them the author of Takagi-san, who constantly supports this project by reposting the illustrations of the manga. Many fans have been a bit confused by what is shown in the panel, however, it is his unmistakable art that makes this manga amazing.
Contrary to what he regularly draws, this image has turned out to be quite suggestive, as it is of two teenagers having a slightly more “racy” interaction than usual. The girl, with a mischievous and flirtatious expression, falls in surprise into the lap of the boy who nervously observes her, and to make it more interesting and naughty, brings a small melting popsicle.
Undoubtedly, it has been a work that with its unique style makes this to the fans something sublime, who expect to know more of what happens next and that, of course, this is not a joke like the ones Takagi-san usually does. For those of you who don’t know Takagi-san, here’s the story: Having a friend who knows you very well should be a good thing, but in Nishikata’s case, it’s quite the opposite. His classmate Takagi loves to tease him every day, and she uses her extensive knowledge of his behavior to predict exactly how he will react to her teasing, making it nearly impossible for Nishikata not to fall for her jokes. Despite this, Nishikata vows to one day give Takagi a taste of her own medicine, making her blush with embarrassment at his teasing.
