In order to increase the hype of fans for its upcoming release in Japan, the anime adaptation of the Suicide Squad franchise, titled “Suicide Squad Isekai“, has shared a new promotional video centered on the captivating Harley Quinn to the public on its official media. In this 30-second video, we can see various scenes in which the character Harley Quinn will be the main protagonist, accompanied by the narration of Anna Nagase, the voice actress in charge of playing Harley in the anime.

It is worth noting that the anime “Suicide Squad Isekai” is scheduled to premiere in Japan in the course of July this year. In addition, it was announced some time ago that the renowned animation studio WIT Studio will be in charge of its production and will have the author of the light novel “Re: Zero – Starting Life in Another World“, Tappei Nagatsuki, and Eiji Umehara in charge of the anime’s scripts.

The Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime features the following description: In the dark alleys of Gotham, where crime creeps through the shadows as a constant threat, Amanda Waller, the fearless leader of A.R.G.U.S., has devised a bold plan to combat the rising tide of chaos. Joining forces with an unusual amalgam of ruthless criminals, Amanda has formed an elite team known as the “Suicide Squad.” This time, however, the mission goes beyond the shadowy streets of Gotham.
Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark, notorious supervillains, find themselves facing a challenge that transcends the boundaries of reality. In an unexpected twist, these criminals are transported to a magical, medieval realm through a mysterious interdimensional doorway: an “ISEKAI”. In this new world, orcs threaten the land, and the skies are dominated by towering dragons.
Life and death are now tied to lethal explosives placed around the necks of the members of the Suicide Squad, with no room for escape. Failure in their mission means an irreversible fate. Can these unlikely heroes conquer the ISEKAI realm and return to Gotham, or will they succumb to the dangers lurking in this fantasy world?
