While waiting for the premiere this year of the original anime series from Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio, from the official accounts of Suicide Squad Isekai, including its X account (ex Twitter), a new trailer showing Peacemaker is presented to its group of followers. And this presentation revolutionized the networks thanks to the presentation of this character that has become so popular in recent years within the superhero community.
New Suicide Squad Isekai trailer reveals Peacemaker
As we mentioned, from its official social networks, the awaited anime Suicide Squad Isekai released a new trailer to continue increasing the hype among fans, and this one presents one of the characters that has gained more fame in recent times, we are referring to Peacemaker. In the video we can see a little of how this character, usually catalogued as a “vigilante” who tries to achieve peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to eliminate to get it in the process, will be characterized.
As shown in the trailer, it can be seen that Peacemaker will have an intimidating and superb character with which, along with his Japanese voice, will form an unprecedented combination, along with a new look for this type of characters originating from comics, but in a fantasy world in a whole series full of action and madness.
The person in charge of giving life to the voice of Peacemaker is Takehito Koyasu, a famous and talented Japanese voice actor, singer and mangaka who, with more than 200 works, has participated in the voice of numerous well-recognized characters in the field of anime and video games. Some notable and well characteristic of his style are, for example, Roswaal L Mathers in Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, Dio Brando in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Zeke Jaeger in Shingeki no Kyojin.
The series has a premiere date for the month of July, however, from the MAX platform it has been announced that it will be transmitted through its streaming portals a little earlier in the country of the rising sun, specifically season 1 on June 27 of this year. It is known that Eri Osada will be the director, Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara the scriptwriters and that the opening and closing songs will be in charge of Tomoyasu Hotei and Mori Calliope.
In crime-ridden Gotham City, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark. These DC supervillains are sent to an otherworldly realm that is connected to this world through a “DOOR”. It is a world of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies.
Harley and the others generate a ruckus when they arrive in this new world, but are captured by Kingdom soldiers and sent to prison and to top it all off, they only have 72 hours before the bomb around their necks explodes. The deadline is approaching and, after negotiations with Queen Aldora, the condition for their release was the conquest of the hostile imperial army. They have no choice but to rush headlong into the front line of battle.
