“Warner Bros. Japan ANIME” caused a stir in the otaku community by announcing the anime adaptation of “Suicide Squad“, one of the most popular franchises of the “DC Comics” publishing house. This news generated a huge commotion within the otaku community, as many showed great enthusiasm for the idea of seeing this animated project, which would have the animation studio “WIT Studio” as the main responsible for the production of the animation.
It has been several months since this news was released, and today fans of this franchise, who have been waiting for more information about the series, have been surprised by the reveal of the first official trailer for the TV anime “Suicide Squad ISEKAI“, with its premiere scheduled for the year 2024.
Suicide Squad ISEKAI to be released in 2024
In the promotional video we can hear a preview of the opening of the anime Suicide Squad ISEKAI, which will be performed by Tomoyasu Hotei and will be titled “Another World“. But that’s not all, as the official media of “Warner Bros. Japan ANIME” has introduced the voice cast members and a new visual image for the series.

The production team behind the anime “Suicide Squad ISEKAI” features outstanding professionals in each of their roles. Eri Osada will lead the direction of the anime. The renowned animation studio, WIT Studio, will be in charge of the production of the anime. The anime’s narrative will be in the hands of: Tappei Nagatsuki, renowned author of “Re: Zero“, and Eiji Umehara, skilled writer of the light novel “Vivy Prototype“.
Talented character designers Akira Amano and Naoto Hosoda will immerse themselves in the creation of the protagonists, endowing them with distinctive personalities and unforgettable visual styles. The unique atmosphere of the anime will be enhanced by the brilliant soundtrack composition by Keinichiro Suehiro.
In addition, the official media of the anime “Suicide Squad ISEKAI” has unveiled individual visuals of the characters Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark.
The Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime features the following description: In the dark alleys of Gotham, where crime creeps through the shadows as a constant threat, Amanda Waller, the fearless leader of A.R.G.U.S., has devised a bold plan to combat the rising tide of chaos. Joining forces with an unusual amalgam of ruthless criminals, Amanda has formed an elite team known as the “Suicide Squad.” This time, however, the mission goes beyond the shadowy streets of Gotham.
Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark, notorious supervillains, find themselves facing a challenge that transcends the boundaries of reality. In an unexpected twist, these criminals are transported to a magical, medieval realm through a mysterious interdimensional doorway: an “ISEKAI”. In this new world, orcs threaten the land, and the skies are dominated by towering dragons.
Life and death are now tied to lethal explosives placed around the necks of Suicide Squad members, with no room for escape. Failure in their mission means an irreversible fate. Can these unlikely heroes conquer the ISEKAI realm and return to Gotham, or will they succumb to the dangers lurking in this fantasy world?
