The wait is over. Shift-Up officially announced the release date of Stellar Blade for PC: it will be June 11, 2025, with a simultaneous worldwide release. The news was shared through the official PlayStation blog, where a free update for the PS5 version was also confirmed, which will include several of the improvements prepared for the Steam edition.
New challenges and outfits: 25 costumes and a new boss
Both the PC version and the PS5 update will be available that same day starting at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET. In addition, Stellar Blade’s Steam page has already been updated, revealing key details such as the presence of the Denuvo protection system and full compatibility with the DualSense control, excellent news for those who wish to replicate the console experience on PC.
Among the most striking new features that will be integrated on both PC and PS5 is the Boss Challenge mode, a new mode where players will be able to face bosses with special conditions. The standout fight will be against Mann, a new enemy that promises to test the reflexes and combat skills of the most experienced players.
As a reward for defeating him, the Royal Guard Suit will be unlocked, one of the 25 new outfits that will be added to the collection of Eve, the main character of the game. Shift Up shared some screenshots that show the new outfits and part of the battle against Mann, raising the community’s expectations.
