The news are not waiting, the official Twitter account of Spice and Wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou) released a new promotional image with our beautiful wolf Holo as the protagonist, the wait is getting shorter and shorter to have back the beloved franchise with its long awaited third season, which since it was announced has done nothing but excite the fans. Let’s remember that the premiere of the third season of the anime is scheduled to be released at some point in the year 2024.
Holo stuns in beautiful promotional image for Spice and Wolf
As you can see in the image, we have our beautiful waifu Holo as the main character, wearing a beautiful blue yukata and holding in her right hand a small ceramic pot with a narrow neck originally called “tokkuri” in Japan and in her left hand she has a small glass of the same material, this alluding to the famous rice drink better known as Sake, from the same country.
In the image we can see that it is impregnated with the color blue, it makes us feel calm, gives a mystical and peaceful air, likewise it is also adorned with bamboo trees and shrubs, the theme for this image is the visualization of Holo and the moon, the written words that are on the right side tell us “If it’s a good month, will you drink too? “and finally at the bottom is written the name of the third season of Spice and Wolf, which will be titled Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf.

Spice and Wolf is a work that amazed fans since its release, the most devoted fans are waiting for new updates to follow the story of Craft Lawrence and Holo, it seems that two 2 seasons and 2 OVAs brought by the animation studio Imagin are not enough and so the otakus express their love and support for this wonderful project.
Synopsis of Spice and Wolf:
The story revolves around Craft Lawrence, a traveling salesman who travels from town to town to make a living. His main goal is to raise enough money to start his own store, he has already been traveling for seven years, while gaining experience in the trade. One night, when he stops in the town of Pasroe, he finds in his cart a girl named Holo, a wolf deity, over 600 years old.
She appears to be fifteen years old, with the exception of having a tail and wolf ears. She presents herself as the goddess of the harvest, who has been fortunate enough to have good wheat crops for many years.
Despite having the responsibility of watching over the people, she wants to return to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu; she believes that the people have already abandoned faith in her and does not believe that she should keep her promise to maintain good crops.
Holo also wants to travel to see how the world has changed, as she has stayed in the same place for years. She negotiates her way out of the village by making a deal with Lawrence to take her with him. As they travel, her wisdom helps to increase their profits, but at the same time, her true nature must be hidden so as not to attract the attention of the church.
