Sousou no Frieren, one of the most popular manga and anime stories of recent times, has taken a step towards digital interaction with its fans. Starting December 4, fans can immerse themselves in a virtual space called “Sousou no Frieren Online Festival,” an immersive experience that will be available until May 31, 2025.

The online festival includes a virtual museum where memorable quotes from the manga are displayed, accompanied by illustrations that recreate iconic scenes from the story. This space allows users to feel as if they were inside the pages of Sousou no Frieren. In addition, voice actor Nobuhiko Okamoto, who plays Himmel in the anime, has recorded an exclusive audio guide to enrich the experience.

At the center of the virtual space is an interactive plaza offering a variety of activities. Users can customize their profiles to express their tastes, capture memories in a “Photo Spot,” or participate in a sort of lottery called the “Manga Panel Lottery,” which awards visual pieces of manga.

One of the festival’s most prominent features is the “Himmel Statue AR Camera,” which allows users to place the Himmel statue in any physical environment and capture creative images with their mobile devices.
