Sousou No Frieren Season 2 Visual

The manga Sousou no Frieren has the following description: During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, the members of the hero’s party – Himmel himself, the priest Heiter, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the Elven mage Frieren – forge bonds through adventures and battles, creating precious, unforgettable memories for most of them.

However, the time Frieren spends with her comrades amounts to only a fraction of her life, which has spanned more than a thousand years. When the group disbands after the victory, Frieren returns to his “usual” routine of collecting spells across the continent. Due to his different sense of time, he does not seem to have strong feelings towards the experiences he has lived through.

As the years go by, Frieren gradually realizes how his days in the group of heroes affected him. Witnessing the death of two of his former companions, Frieren begins to regret taking their presence for granted; he vows to understand humans better and create true personal connections. Although the story of that memorable journey is long over, a new story is about to begin.
