Social networks have starred incredible moments of anime, as it was with Sousou no Frieren and the memes of its protagonist Frieren in her search for grimoires to get trapped in a mimic, but some of them become completely viral that manage to catapult the popularity of the anime. In this case My Deer Friend Nokotan (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan) managed to viralize part of its opening, and now Frieren’s characters have joined this dance that became a trend in the networks.
Sousou no Frieren: Fern joins the new trend of My Deer Friend Nokotan
As you may have noticed in the last few weeks, My Deer Friend Nokotan has captivated the social networks with the preview of its trailer which shows a segment that became very popular due to the combination of the dance and the catchy lyrics that has become a very viral video in social networks. So artists have dedicated themselves to make parodies of this video with their favorite characters, as it was in this case with the characters of Sousou no Frieren.
It turns out that the animator Lexl Animation created an animated video in which you can see several characters from Sousou no Frieren appearing, especially Fern who was in charge of starring in this animation in which she is seen doing the characteristic dance of My Deer Friend Nokotan. While this happens, several characters from Sousou no Frieren appear, such as Ubel, Frieren, Stark and Serie, who do something characteristic that makes the video funnier than it is.
Between the catchy melody and the poses that the characters of Sousou no Frieren are doing along with Fern’s dance that shows her as a funnier character than she is, this animation manages to be unique among the others and draws the attention of the fandom of the two series.
My Deer Friend Nokotan caught the attention of the public, since weeks before its premiere it is one of the most awaited series by the public, but not because of the story it will tell us, but because of the absurdity it looks like. Although what we are very sure is that it will make us laugh a lot in this upcoming season, and who knows, maybe it will end up having the same popularity as Sousou no Frieren, but only time will tell.
For those who do not know the story, Sousou no Frieren tells us how the members of the group of heroes managed to forge very deep bonds through all the adventures they lived in their journey to defeat the Demon King, managing to create wonderful memories. But the time Frieren spent with his companions was very little compared to their life expectancy, which has lasted more than a thousand years. After the group disbanded, Frieren returned to his quest for spells across the continent without harboring strong feelings from his experiences.
After a few years, and after losing two of his companions, Frieren finally realizes the feelings he experienced while traveling with his companions and regrets not having treasured those moments better, so he promises to create better personal connections in the future. Undoubtedly this is a story that is well worth watching because of the strong and touching messages that the series leaves throughout its story, so don’t wait any longer to watch it, you won’t regret it.
