Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) is an anime that, despite having already finished its broadcast, is still on everyone’s lips, so it is not surprising that the series continues to be talked about in different social networks. So much so that in recent days, a Twitter/X user has shared a publication that is focused on the “Fanservice” of the series, a detail that has caught the attention of the otaku public…
They point out that Sousou no Frieren has a lot of Fanservice.
The user in charge of making this post was “Baalzamon35“, with some “annoyance” when it came to giving his opinion about the fanservice shown in the anime adaptation of the manga “Sousou no Frieren“. In his original post, Baalzamon35 expressed the following, “I hear people saying that Frieren has no fanservice… Thanks, random internet weirdos for the excuse to post this!”
It is worth noting that the publication of “Baalzamon35” was accompanied by some of the images that you can see in this publication, focusing in a certain way on the scenes where the feet of the favorite elf of many, Frieren, made an appearance in some frames that at the time have given much to talk about, and another scene where we can see some legs in the first instance and a silhouette that is seen through them.
However, and as we mentioned before, this publication caught the attention of fans of the anime series “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) and they have gathered in this publication where, in a way, they mocked the situation presented by the user “Baalzamon35” leaving some comments like the following:
“Some of the comments say things like, “Armpits… how bad can you be”, “Armpits are considered sexy in Japan. It is common to avoid showing armpits on TV”, “I’m pretty neutral about feet in real life. But anime feet… there’s something magical there”, it seems that a number of ironic or mocking comments were generated towards this guy’s post.
As we know, fanservice in anime is something quite common, it’s a resource used to entertain the audience. What do you think about the beach episodes, or when your favorite characters wear little clothes? That’s something that catches your attention, isn’t it, not to mention that these kinds of resources are used in several works and we have seen them so many times that they are already a meme within the community.
Although the characters of Sousou no Frieren apparently do not show a fanservice, this does not mean that fans do not decide to make their own, as we once talked about the fanarts that some artists create paying tribute to their favorite works or characters. Every head is a world and if some fans want to believe that Sousou no Frieren contains fanservice they will, the situation in which the work was involved is quite funny, if you think about it it seems that the person who enhanced the publication in the first instance, was trying to be funny, maybe he was looking to get a smile to the fandom or just have a good time watching the responses of multiple people and responding to them.
As expected, the anime Sousou no Frieren could not be exempt from controversy, and the series has been labeled as boring by some people who have abandoned the anime in the first episode. However, we must highlight the great work done by the studio “MADHOUSE” for the production that the series has had in terms of its animation. Nor can we forget the work that has been done in the soundtrack of the anime Sousou no Frieren and is that each melody that accompanied felt most natural with the scene in question, as well as in those intense moments.
It is no surprise that the anime Sousou no Frieren is one of the anime of the moment, because at first glance you can see the enormous love that has been done in this series so praised by the otaku community.
