Thanks to its anime adaptation, the popularity of “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) increased greatly, becoming one of the favorite stories of otaku. A reflection of this great success was the exhibition that was held in Japan a few months ago, which was in great demand by fans of Sousou no Frieren, to such an extent that the decision was made to open a new venue in another city in Japan, so that fans could live this wonderful experience.
Sousou no Frieren exhibition causes a sensation in Japan, so it was decided to open a new venue for fans.
The Sousou no Frieren exhibition took place in the months of April and May in Japan’s capital, Tokyo. The location was Sunshine City, located in Ikebukuro. And according to information shared on the internet, a large number of people went to this place and made long lines to experience first hand everything that was prepared in the exhibition for the fans of this franchise. However, something the organizers did not count on was the huge success the event would have.
Because of this, it was decided to reopen the exhibition in a different location in Osaka, Japan; in this way, a greater number of people would have the opportunity to attend this event where they could experience a magnificent moment where they would find various elements that would make them feel that they were part of the world of Sousou no Frieren. The number of visitors was so large, that the person in charge of the event expressed that it was better than he expected, since a large number of people both local and foreigners were attending.
Inside this exhibition of Sousou no Frieren, we will find things like famous scenes from the anime that are represented in different ways, such as three-dimensional models, photographs and videos that show us some of the most iconic battles of Sousou no Frieren. The exhibition shows you in chronological order these scenes of the anime chapter by chapter, so you can feel as if you were inside the story and you were one of the characters.
The most popular attraction in the exhibition was a space where a chest was placed where fans could take pictures. This chest is like the ones we saw in the anime, those in which Frieren used to get trapped because she fell into the trap of thinking that inside them was some strange grimoire that she likes to collect and without thinking about it, she ventured into them, getting trapped and asking Fern, her disciple and companion in her adventures, for help.
Thanks to the huge response that this space had at the Tokyo location, for this new location in Osaka, it was decided to place two, so that fans can live the same experience as Frieren and have their nice souvenir photo. The exhibition at this new venue will start from July 27 and is expected to have a response equal to or greater than the first edition.
