One of the most commented things about Fern from Sousou no Frieren is her supposed change in appearance, it may not be an incredibly big change, but for fans of the series this did not go unnoticed, users mention that Fern in the manga looks much thinner and sadder compared to her counterpart in the anime version.

Several comments mentioned the presence of a “futon” which makes its appearance in one of the chapters of the manga Sousou no Frieren, apparently the cold made Fern lose weight quickly, another comment that was made was “Where does she get that futon?
As you can see the change in Fern’s appearance was not exactly a scandal, these differences from the original work to its anime adaptation was received in a funny way by the fans of Sousou no Frieren, apparently the fans have no problem seeing slight variations in the physique of the characters as long as they are not excessive changes or alterations in the plot.
