The anime series Sousou no Frieren (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), has been the subject of recent news in the world of anime and manga, with its most recent parody H starring the characters of Fern and Stark, created by the renowned independent animator Maplestar. This video managed to capture the attention of fans on social networks, accumulating millions of views in just a few days. However, what has surprised fans even more is the revelation that an animator who worked on the official production of the anime, also worked on the creation of this animation by Maplestar.

On January 2, MapleStar released a new animation based on Sousou no Frieren featuring a “delicious” moment between the characters Fern and Stark, titled simply as: “Fern and Stark need to warm up”, this new H animation was the most important in Maplestar’s career, being his most ambitious project to date. With a duration of 11 minutes, the video posted on Twitter/X, quickly went viral, accumulating more than 3 million views in just a few days.
This production stands out not only for its length, but also for its quality, since this new work includes professional dubbing, for which Maplestar hired specialized voice actors, demonstrating the creator’s commitment to a level of detail that rivals official productions.
However, what has caused the greatest impact among the community of followers and fans is the participation of Yuuta Suzuhana, an animator who worked on episodes 14 and 17 of the official Sousou no Frieren anime. Through his Twitter/X account, Yuuta Suzuhana revealed his involvement in the project, sharing a message that left fans surprised, which read as follows:

Yuuta Suzuhana participated in Sousou no Frieren, more precisely in the secondary animation, and his work in this H parody generated multiple immediate reactions among fans. Some celebrated his bravery in venturing into new creative territories, plus they couldn’t believe what they were reading, because seeing an official animator working alongside MapleStar, creator of H parodies of multiple series, is something unthinkable.
In addition to the revelation, Suzuhana in its publication, released a small video, where a fragment of the animation in its clean-up animation phase is shown. This is an intermediate stage in the production of animations, especially in anime, where the drawings already have defined and clear lines, without the additional strokes of the preliminary animation, but are not yet colored or fully animated in a fluid way.
