To commemorate the end of the anime adaptation of the manga “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End), Toho Animation’s official YouTube account released a special video with a duration of two minutes and six seconds.

The video compiles different scenes seen throughout the first season of the anime, as a kind of compilation video with the most charming and emotional moments of “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End).
It is important to note that hours before a special illustration was published in the X account (formerly Twitter) starring Frieren, which is accompanied by the message “The Journey to Ende continues“, alluding that this is not the end of the journey and giving hope for a possible second season.
Although a message was left suggesting that the journey continues, there is no direct confirmation of a sequel, so it could be an invitation to anime fans to read the manga. For this reason, we recommend the audience to remain calm and wait for an official announcement from the production committee.
On the other hand, “Sousou no Frieren” (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) has remained for more than 3 months as the best anime of all time in MyAnimeList (MAL), surpassing such popular franchises as Fullmetal Alchemist.
Sousou no Frieren, also known as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is an intriguing manga that fuses adventure and fantasy. This masterpiece is written by Kanehito Yamada and beautifully illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. The work began its publication in the pages of the prestigious Shonen Sunday magazine, under the Shogakukan publishing imprint, since April 2020. To date, the manga has been collected in a total of 12 volumes.
The series at the time of its completion has a total of 28 episodes that aired consecutively for two seasons and was a work produced by the legendary animation studio Madhouse.
