It’s been a little less than 2 years since news broke that the popular anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru (My Dress-Up Darling) will be getting a sequel, and although no update on its production is yet known, fan anticipation for the series’ return is growing as time goes on.

Taking advantage of the enormous expectation of the fans for the return of the series, the official media of the Japanese company “Premium Shop” has presented to the public a collaboration with the franchise. In addition, it was specified that this collaboration will consist of the opening of a “PremiumShop” or special store where a line of products that will be produced specifically for this occasion will be made available to the public.
Additionally, to commemorate the upcoming celebration of this special event, a promotional image was presented to the public, which will feature Marin Kitagawa, the main female character of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru.
According to the information presented in the official media of the Japanese company Premium Shop, this new event of the anime Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru is scheduled to take place on August 24 of this year and will be held in 4 cities nationwide.
Another detail to mention is that for the moment, there is not much information about the products that will be exhibited in this special event, however, it is expected that new updates will be released as the days go by.
Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru, also known as My Dress-Up Darling in the West, is a romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda. The work began publication in January 2018 in Square Enix publisher’s Young Gangan magazine, with a total of 13 compilation volumes currently published. Shinichi Fukuda’s manga is still in publication and publisher Square Enix confirmed a while ago that the work managed to surpass the incredible figure of 11 million copies in circulation.
The anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga “My Dress-Up Darling” (Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru) began broadcasting on Japanese television on January 8, 2022. The series consisted of a total of 12 episodes and the CloverWorks animation studio was in charge of its production. The anime was broadcast legally and simultaneously through the Crunchyroll platform, which dubbed the series into English.
