“Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita” is a captivating story that challenges the conventions of role-playing games by exploring what happens when one faces a seemingly trivial enemy for centuries. The plot follows Azusa Aizawa, who after a life of burnout in the corporate world, finds death and immortality in a new world thanks to a benevolent goddess. In this world, Azusa leads a quiet life, dedicated to farming and protecting her village, while taking care of eliminating slimes, those common and underestimated enemies, day after day.
However, the monotony of her existence is altered when Azusa realizes that she has reached the maximum level, 99, only by facing slimes. Although she tries to keep this fact a secret, rumors of her power spread, attracting various characters, from dragons to elves, to her doorstep. These new encounters trigger a series of events that lead Azusa to discover the value of friendship and community, transforming her life into a much richer and more fulfilling experience than ever before. With endearing characters and a fresh twist on the isekai genre, this story invites us to reflect on the meaning of life, friendship and personal growth.
