Shonen Jump is running out of popular works

As we have seen in recent years, the shonen genre has become quite popular, especially among young people, since the depth with which they handle their stories has attracted a large audience. And this year we have seen how several of these titles have unfortunately been concluding, leaving fans without being able to continue seeing more of their favorite story and with some small disappointments, so it has been established in the fans the idea that the Shonen Jump is running out of outstanding works.

Shonen Jump runs out of highlights works

Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade

Fans recently witnessed the end of Jujutsu Kaisen, one of the most popular Shonen Jump manga that had existed in recent years and although this may not have been the favorite of the fans, there was a lot of noise about the series in social networks. Undoubtedly it was a much talked about topic in recent days and with a few weeks of difference My Hero Academia also ended its manga, leaving fans with few stories to continue reading.

And the fact is that the end of a manga that the public has followed for so many years and that has had a lot of repercussion in the industry, comes to leave a very deep mark in the lives of the fans. At the same time, since they are such popular stories, people who finish reading them run out of material to consume, as even other stories are in the process of ending in the near future.

Shonen Jump/My Hero Academia

For example, a few years ago it was announced that One Piece would be entering its final arc, of course, although it has already happened on several different occasions, the story is gradually covering everything that could have been shown since it was released years ago, and although there is still a long way to go, people feel that the end is approaching. Undoubtedly, this will create a void that will leave Shonen Jump without outstanding titles for fans to purchase.

Between some of the well-known names of Shonen Jump, such as Dr. Stone, Mashle and Haikyuu!!!, along with the current titles that ended this year, they left a big mark on the magazine, which will not be easy to replace due to the impact these works had. Undoubtedly, Shonen Jump in any of its editions will have to look for an attractive story to attract the public that will gradually stop buying the magazines due to the end of these titles.

Although the effect of the end of these works will take some time to be seen in sales, Shonen Jump will have to promote its works even more and attract new stories that will bring the public together again in order to maintain its sales. So we will have to wait and see if its most popular titles, One Piece and Black Clover, maintain the flow of popularity that the magazine had and for how long before any of these works reach their expected end.
