The official media for the anime adaptation of the light novel “Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote” (The Two Sides of Voice Actor Radio) has been providing the public with a round of new news regarding the production of the series.
One of these news that has been highlighted by the fans of this franchise is focused on the expected premiere date of the anime, and it is that the official media of “Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote” have confirmed that it will begin its broadcast on television in Japan on April 10 this year.

But that’s not all, since the official website for the anime series “Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote” has presented to the public a new promotional video where we are shown a small preview of what we will see in this series and we are presented in several scenes to the characters Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane.
Additionally, the official media for the anime adaptation of the light novel “Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote” (The Two Sides of Voice Actor Radio) has unveiled a new visual image featuring the lovely Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane, the main female characters of the series’ story.
Previously, the staff members who will participate in the production of the series have been introduced and those selected were the following: Hideki Tachibana will direct the anime. The animation studio CONNECT is in charge of the production of the anime. Shoko Takimoto, who will also be the chief animation director, will be in charge of the anime’s character design. Keiichiro Ochi is in charge of supervising the anime’s scripts. Keiichi Hirokawa (MONACA) and Kuniyuki Takahashi (MONACA) are in charge of composing the anime’s soundtrack.

The light novel Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote, also known as The Two Sides of Voice Actor Radio, is written by Kou Nigatsu and illustrated by Mizore Saba and began its publication in the Dengeki Bunko imprint of ASCII Media Works since February 2020.
The work has a manga adaptation by artist/illustrator Umemi Makimoto and was first published in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh magazine in March 2020.
“Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote” offers a fascinating peek behind the curtains into the lives of two high school voice actresses, Yuuhi Yuugure and Yasumi Utatane, who share the stage both in the recording studio and in their high school classrooms. Taking the role of the charismatic hosts of a weekly radio show, they convey an image of friendship and camaraderie to the listening audience. However, behind the scenes, the reality is diametrically opposed.
Yumiko Sato and Chika Watanabe, the real names of our protagonists, embody polar opposites: Chika, a quiet student, contrasts with the vibrant and outgoing personality of Yumiko, a self-proclaimed “Gal.” Although in front of the microphone they represent a perfect harmony, outside of it a chaos of conflicts and disagreements is unleashed, where insults and rivalries know no bounds.
As tensions between them escalate, the seemingly incompatible pair is forced to confront their differences and find common ground. Through their work together on the radio and at events, Yumiko and Chika begin to understand each other and forge a relationship marked by rivalry but also by personal growth. How far will these two opposites go in their tumultuous and surprising journey?
